Assam Police Recruitment 2020
State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) of Assam Police recently issued an official recruitment notification regarding the online application for 204 posts of Junior Assistant and Stenographer (Grade-III). Online applications are invited from eligible & interested candidates for filling up these total 204 posts.
1. Junior Assistant (in APHQRS)
No of Posts: 15 Posts (UR 4 ,SC 3 ,OBC 3 , ST(H) 1, ST (P) 3 ,EWS 1)
Educational Qualification : The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognised College/ Institutions affiliated to a recognised University and must possess Diploma in Computer.
2. Junior Assistant (District Level)
No of Posts: 170 Posts ( UR 60 ,OBC 38, SC 8, ST(H) 3 , ST(P) 16 ,EWS -45)
Educational Qualification : The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognised College/ Institutions affiliated to a recognised University and must possess Diploma in Computer.
3. Stenographer (Grade-III)
No of Posts: 19 Posts (OBC 5 , SC 01 , ST(H) 03 , ST(P) 05 , EWS 5)
- Starting date of online application: 13th May 2020 at 12 Noon
- Last date of online application: 15th June 2020
Selection Process of Assam Police Recruitment 2020
For this recruitment State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) of Assam Police will conduct two types of examination a) Written Test and b) Practical Test. More details of these two tests are below discussed.
1. Written Test
The written test will be of 50 marks and will be completely OMR based. There will be 50 questions and each question will be of 1 (one) mark. There will be negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer. Candidates will use black ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet. Duration of the test will be of 2 (two) hours
The questions will be set in four parts:
- Logical reasoning, aptitude,
- Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India,
- Comprehension,
- General Knowledge.
2. Practical Test
The second test is Practical Test where the selection board will test the practical ability of candidates. The total test will be related to computer
