Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER Berhampur) invites online application for 03 posts of Superintending Engineer, Junior Translator and Office Assistant (Multi Skill). The posts are Regular in nature. 1. SUPERINTENDING ENGINEER

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: i) First class degree or equivalent grade in Engineering in relevant field (preferably in Civil) from a recognized University/ Institute.
ii) Knowledge of Computer applications like Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Experience: Should have overall experience of 15 years.

Desirable: i) Master’s Degree in Construction Management/ Structural Engineering/ Civil Engineering or equivalent.
ii) Knowledge of Computer – aided Design (CAD) and latest Management Technology/ other relevant software.
iii) Minimum 08 years of work experience in Central/ State Govt. or similar organized services/ Semi-Govt./ PSU/ Govt. Autonomous organizations/ Govt. Universities/ Govt. Institutes of national importance.

Age Limit: Maximum 57 years as on 11/06/2020.

 

2. JUNIOR TRANSLATOR

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
OR
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.
ii) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or 02 years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Experience: i) At least 02 years’ office environment and typing skills in Hindi/ English.
ii) Excellent computer skills for handling correspondence work/ office files/ papers with proficiency in English and Hindi. iii) Knowledge of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa.
iv) Knowledge of computer office applications with sufficient typing speed, proficiency in office application like Word,, Excel, Power Point etc.

Desirable: Three years of work experience in Central/ State Govt. or similar organized services/ Semi-Govt./ PSU/ Govt. Autonomous organizations/ Govt. Universities/ Govt. Institutes of national importance.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 11/06/2020.

 

3. OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTI SKILL)

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with sufficient typing speed, proficiency in office application like Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Experience: i) Two years of relevant experience in handling Office works and equipment/ knowledge of computer applications.
ii) Experience in Secretarial work/ establishments/ Finance & Accounts/ Stores & Purchase/ Legal/ Academic Affairs etc.

Desirable: i) Master’s Degree in any discipline. Shorthand in Hindi/ English.
ii) Working experience in Central/ State Govt. or similar organized services/ Semi-Govt./ PSU/ Govt. Autonomous organizations/ Govt. Universities/ Govt. Institutes of national importance.

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 11/06/2020.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.

 

The posts are Regular in nature. The selected candidates will be on Probation for one (01) year.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test (Online/ Offline mode), Skill/ Trade Test, Online/ Skype/ Personal Interview and/ or PPT etc. wherever applicable.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and send it along with copies of testimonials, if instructed, such as qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc, at the below given address so as to reach on or before 22/06/2020 upto 05:30 PM
