ICMR – National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) is recruiting 07 Biotechnologist- NRL, Biomedical Engineer, Data Analyst and Senior Laboratory Technician. The vacancies are for the study titled “External Quality assurance and drug resistant survey under RNTCP” implemented by ICMR – National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT). The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of One year, which may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and project requirement. 1. BIOTECHNOLOGIST- NRL

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with 03 years of work experience in TB Bacteriology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology.
OR
M.Sc. Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with 05 years of work experience in TB Bacteriology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology.

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years

Consolidated Pay: Rs.65000 per month

 

2. BIOMEDICAL ENGINEER

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.

Experience: Three years of work experience in relevant field.

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years

Consolidated Pay: Rs.65000 per month

 

3. DATA ANALYST

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Computer Application.
ii) Should be proficient in data analysis and statistical packages.

Experience: Two years of work experience in related field.

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years

Consolidated Pay: Rs.30000 per month

 

4. SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-01)

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with or without DMLT with 03 years of work experience in TB Bacteriology.
OR
B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Life Science with or without DMLT with 05 years of work experience in TB Bacteriology.

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years

Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 per month

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.

 

The vacancies are for the study titled “External Quality assurance and drug resistant survey under RNTCP” implemented by ICMR – National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT).
