National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2020- Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online application for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2020 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 146th Course, and for the 108th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2021. Approximately 413 vacancies will be filled on the basis of the results of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2020 out of which 370 Posts are for National Defence Academy and 43 Posts are for Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme). NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY AND NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION (II), 2020
No. of Vacancies: 413 Nos.
i) National Defence Academy: 370 posts (208 posts for Army, 42 posts for Navy and 120 posts for Air Force (including 28 for ground Duties))
ii) Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 43 posts
Educational Qualification National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination :
i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:- 12th Class pass (10+2) or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:-
12th
Class pass (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent
conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Note:- Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
Age Limit for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination : Born not earlier than 02/01/2002 and not later than 01/01/2005.
Note: Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination :
Candidates must be physically fit and should meet the prescribed physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2020 as laid by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). For more details please see the officially released advertisement.

Candidates’ Selection for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination:
Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and SSB ITest/ nterview (Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test). The examination will be conducted on 06th September, 2020 at various Centres across India. For more details please see the officially released advertisement.
Examination Fee for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination:
Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs. 100/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST CANDIDATES/ SONS OF SERVING/ EX-JUNIOR COMMISSIONED OFFICERS/ NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS/ OTHER RANKS OF ARMY AND EQUIVALENT RANKS IN THE INDIAN NAVY/ INDIAN AIR FORCE ARE ALSO NOT REQUIRED TO PAY THE PRESCRIBED FEE IF THEY ARE STUDYING IN MILITARY SCHOOL (FORMERLY KNOWN AS KING GEORGE’S SCHOOL)/ SAINIK SCHOOL RUN BY SAINIK SCHOOLS SOCIETY.
