1. MOLECULAR BIOLOGIST
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (may be increased based on requirement)
Educational Qualification: Master degree in Molecular Biology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biomedical Lab. Science & Management/ Biotechnology/ Life Science.
Desirable: i) PhD degree in Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology and other related subjects in Life Science.
ii) Working experience in Virology laboratory and/ or handling RT PCR/ PCR machines. Experience in ELISA/ GEL Electrophoresis mRNA isolation etc. would be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 65 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.40000 per month
2. LAB TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos. (may be increased based on requirement)
Educational Qualification: HS Science with Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology/ Diploma in Medical Lab Technology.
Desirable: Higher qualification like B.Sc/ M.Sc in Microbiology/ Bio-Technology from recognized Institute/ University along with relevant experience in virology lab and/ or handling RT PCR/ PCR machines.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17000 per month
3. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (may be increased based on requirement)
Educational Qualification: i) Graduation with certification in Computer Applications/ Data Management/ equivalent qualification from recognized Institute.
ii) Higher qualification in related subject will be given preference.
Desirable: i) B.Tech (Comp. Sc.)/ MCA/ BCA will be given preference.
ii) One year relevant post qualification experience from recognized Hospital in Govt. or private sector.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.13000 per month
The vacancies are in COVID-19 Testing Laboratory at Purulia Government Medical College. The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis for a period of Three (03) months.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Academic marks, Experience, Desirable Qualification/ Experience, Local Residence, Computer Knowledge, Practical Test and Interview wherever applicable.
