CONSTABLE (EXECUTIVE)

No. of Vacancies: 5846 Nos. (UR-2801, EWS-583, OBC-1133, SC-1037, ST-302) (Male- 3902 posts, Female- 1944 posts)

 

Educational Qualification:

 i) 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board.
ii) Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motor Cycle or Car).

Note:- Educational qualification is relaxable up to 11th passed for the:-
(a) Sons/ daughters of serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police Personnel/ MultiTasking Staff of Delhi Police, and
(b) Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police only.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as 0n 01/07/2020.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.21700 — Rs.69100

 

Upper Age Relaxation:

 Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

The vacancies are in Delhi Police. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.

 

Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — Minimum 170 cm (165 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm (76 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cm (81 cm for ST)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — Minimum 157 cm (155 cm for ST candidates)

Cut-off in Physical Standards:

 For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Candidates’ Selection: 

Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination, Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) followed by Medical Examination. The Computer Based Examination will be conducted from 27/11/2020 to 14/12/2020 at various centres across India. For more details please see the officially released advertisement.

Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 100/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan.
