TCS Off Campus Hiring Application Process
The application process for TCS Off Campus Hiring for YOP 2019 and 2020 comprises of below mandatory steps.
Step 1: NQT Registration – Registration is mandatory on TCS National Qualifier Test for the TCS Off Campus Hiring.

Step 2: NextStep Portal Registration
Post the generation of your NQT ID through NQT registration (NQTXXXXXXXXXX), registration is mandatory on the NextStep Portal.
Go to the following link -https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/
Step 3:
Option A) If you do not have CT/DT reference ID, please click on “Register Now”, choose “IT”, proceed to fill/submit the application form. Upon submission you would be prompted to the “Apply For Drive” screen.
Option B) If you already have a CT/DT reference ID then please click on Login and proceed to fill/submit the application form. Upon submission you would be prompted to the “Apply For Drive” screen.
Step 4:
Update your NQT Registration Number obtained in Step 1 and click on Apply. In the "Track Your Application" tab, the status should be updated as “Applied for Drive”.
Important Note:
Upon clearing the Off Campus Hiring process, you need to be available for joining by March 2021 / April 2021
You must have all your academic documents readily available (marksheets and provisional/degree certificates)
In case you have a work experience:
A) You must provide experience related documents (experience Letter / release letter/ documents where Date of Joining and Date of Release is clearly mentioned) at the time of interview for all the previous organizations.
B) For the current organization you should be able to produce valid proof of work (Appointment Letter/ Joining Letter/ Last 3 months salary slips) during the interview.
C) On clearing the Off Campus Hiring process, you must provide Release Letter and Experience certificate from your last organization at the time of joining TCS.
Your candidature for TCS Off Campus Hiring will be considered only if you register on both the registration links i.e. NextStep Portal & NQT website

TCS DOES NOT:
1. Send job offers from free internet email services like Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, and so on.

A: NQT Registration Number is an unique 14 digit alpha numeric id generated upon successul completion of NQT Registration

A: 10th March 2021
Q4: I am not getting 'Apply For Drive', what should I do?
A: Once the application form is completed/submitted in TCS next step portal, 'Apply For Drive' would be enabled ONLY for 2019 and 2020 Engineering Graduates ( B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA ).
Q5: I do not remember my NQT Registration Number, what should I do?
A: Upon successful completion of NQT Registration the NQT ID would be sent to your registered E-Mail Id.
Q6: Is 'Apply For Drive' mandatory?
A: Yes, if you do not click on 'Apply For Drive', your candidature for TCS Off Campus Hiring would not be considered.
Q7: Is it mandatory to have the same Email Id for NQT & TCS Off Campus Hiring?
A: Yes, it is strongly recommended that the same E-Mail id is used in the NQT form & TCS Off Campus Hiring Application
Q8: By mistake, I have updated the Incorrect NQT registration Id in the TCS Off Campus Hiring Application Form, how do I change ?
A: Yes, you can make the changes. Login to https://nextstep.tcs.com and update the NQT registration Id in 'Edit Drive Details'. You can update the changes till the last date of registration.
Q9: When is the Last date to Register for TCS Off Campus Hiring?

Q10: When will I receive my hall ticket?
A: You will get your Hall Ticket for Off Campus Hiring Test 2 days before the Test on your registered email ID. Please note that the final Test Centre will be communicated to you, by TCS iON.

Q14: I have applied for the Drive but have not got a confirmation E-Mail, what should I do?
A: In your Track My Application Status, the status will reflect as "Applied For Drive". You will not get an acknowledgment mail or confirmation mail regarding the same.

A: Interview schedule will be communicated to the shortlisted students (Based on NQT Performance) to your registered E-Mail Id.
Q17: My account is locked. How can I unlock it?
A: Request you to directly log on to https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus/#/
Click the “Unlock Account & Reset Password” link on the Login screen. You will receive an auto-generated email for resetting the password after 15 minutes.
Please do not click on the link repeatedly as every time you click on the link, the previous password expires and a new password is generated and sent to your registered email address.
Request you to use a Desktop/Laptop. Please clear the cache, history and cookies and use the latest version of Internet Explorer/Google Chrome.
Q18: I am not able to find the apply for drive option. What should I do?
A: Once you complete your application form, logout and login again.
Then click on apply for drive.
If you are not getting the Apply for drive option, please check:
a) If you have completed your application form.
b) If you have erroneously registered as BPS instead of IT(If you have wrongly registered under BPS domain, then register again under IT domain using your own alternate email id).
c) Check the qualification you have entered in the Application form.
d) Check the Year of Passing you have entered in the Application form.
Q19: I have incorrectly created my profile under 'BPS'. What should I do now?
A: If you have incorrectly created your profile under BPS, you will need to create your profile under 'IT' once again using your own alternate Email ID. If you want to get your BPS profile deleted, please send a mail to ilp.support@tcs.com
Q20: I am not able to edit the Full Time/Part time course in my Application Form. What should I do?
A: If you are not able to edit the Full time/Part time course in the Application form, you will need to create your profile once again using your own alternate Email ID.
Q21: My college has CGPA grading system. However, in my application form, there is only option to update my percentage. What should I do?
A: Please convert CGPA into percentage and complete the application form and click on Apply for Drive.
Q22: What if I already have a CT or a DT reference number?
A: No, you don’t need to register again, please ensure you fill the Application Form & Click on 'Apply For Drive'.
Q23: Can I make changes to my profile as I have made some mistakes in my profile?
A: Yes, You can logon to https://nextstep.tcs.com and make changes in a few limited fields like academic details & resume. You cannot make changes to your name, email Id & date of birth. Once you have 'Applied for Drive', you will not be able to make any changes.
Q24: Can I change my photo in the application form?
A: Yes you can change your photograph before you submit the application form. Request you to carefully follow the instructions while uploading the photograph.
Q25: I already have my CT/DT number. I need to update my marks/CGPA in my application form. How can I do so?
A: You can edit the details by clicking “Edit Application form” and update the required details.
Q26: I have created 2 profiles. What should I do now?
A: Only 1 profile needs to be created per candidate. Duplicate profile should not be created. Please write to ilp.support@tcs.com for deletion of your duplicate profile.
Q27: What are the documents that are required to present if I have Work Experience?
A: If you are a candidate with a work experience, please note that:
• You must provide experience related documents such as experience Letter / release letter/ documents wherein Date of Joining and Date of Release is clearly mentioned at the time of interview for all the previous organization/s.
• For the current organization you must provide valid proof of work like Appointment Letter/ Joining Letter during the interview.
• If selected, you must provide Release Letter and Experience certificate from your last organization at the time of joining TCS.
Q28: What are the documents that are required to present if I have Academic Verification?
A: You must have all your academic marksheets and degree certificates at the time of interview as well as joining if you are selected.
