Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official IBPS RRB Recruitment 2021 today, 7th June 2021.
 The exam dates for IBPS RRB 2021 exam has already been released by IBPS along with IBPS Calendar 2021-22.

As per the IBPS RRB notification 2021, the exam wil be conducted to fill up more than 9000 Officers and Office Assistants posts. Candidates can begin to apply for the IBPS RRB exam from tomorrow, 8th June 2021. The online application window will close on 28th June 2021.

IBPS RRB Notification – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the IBPS RRB  Recruitment 2021 notification before applying for the recruitment exam. There are 3 sections related to the eligibility criteria and are highlighted below:

NATIONALITY

The applying candidate must be either a:

  1. Citizen of India
  2. OR Subject of Bhutan
  3. OR Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 intending to settle in India permanently
  4. OR Subject of Nepal
  5. OR Person of Indian origin who has migrated from:
  • Sri Lanka
  • East African Countries (Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania ((formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), and Zaire (to settle permanently in India))
  • Burma
  • Pakistan
  • Vietnam


AGE LIMIT For IBPS RECRUITMENT 2021

Before applying for the different IBPS RRB posts, candidates should fulfil the important age limit eligibility norms as highlighted in the IBPS RRB notification. IBPS has set an upper and lower age limit for candidates who wish to appear for the IBPS RRB exam 2021.


Office Assistant (Multipurpose)Age should be between 18 to 28 years (Not born before 2nd July 1993 and later than 1st July 2003.
Officer Scale – I (Assistant Manager)Age should be between 18 to 30 years (Not born before 3rd July 1991 and later than 31st June 2003.

Salary

Candidates selected in the IBPS RRB Mains exam will undergo proper training as per the post. After completing the training, they will be posted to different allotted banks. The salary of the selected candidates as mentioned in the IBPS RRB notification (later appointed officers and office assistants) are based on different scales (Grades) and will vary as per the post.

IBPS RRB Notification – Application/Registration Process

IBPS RRB application form has released today, 7th June 2021. The online registration process is expected to be a lengthy process as the number of vacancies was 9698 and lakhs of aspirants applied for the IBPS RRB exam. To make the application process smooth, IBPS will keep the application/registration portal active till 28th June 2021

Similar to previous year, IBPS has offered aspirants several payment channels to pay their application without hassle. Candidates can find them easily in the IBPS RRB notification. They can pay via online mode [Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets]. 

Candidates can submit their application forms via online mode by accessing the official IBPS website. They require to follow four major steps to complete the application form submission process –

  1. Registration
  2. Uploading Scanned Documents
  3. Fill IBPS RRB Application Form
  4. Pay IBPS RRB Application Fees

IBPS RRB Notification –  Application Fee Structure

Candidates need to pay the registration/application fee for IBPS RRB to apply for the examination. Before a payment is made, the candidates should carefully read all the eligibility criteria. Candidates must note that the application fee amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Before filling up the form, the candidate must make a duplicate copy and fill it up first. This helps in avoiding any mistakes or accidentally leaving out fields, leading to the rejection of the application form.

This year, the IBPS RRB examination fee had been increased by 57% for SC/ST/PwD candidates while 70% for General and OBC candidates (mentioned in IBPS RRB notification). The application fee structure for IBPS RRB as per candidate categories is as follows:

IBPS RRB Notification – Exam Pattern

The IBPS RRB 2021 is a 3-tier exam. It comprises Prelims, Mains and Interview rounds. The preliminary exam is an objective online test and was held for 5 consecutive days (1st August, 7th August, 8th August, 14th August and 21st August 2021).
