NEET 2022 Application Form: Application form and notification for NEET 2022 is expected to be released soon at neet.nta.nic.in. The application process was expected to start in January itself, reports suggest that the assembly elections may push the dates a bit. NEET 2022 application process may start in March. NEET 2022 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
This exam will be for admission to dental courses including MBBS, AYUSH, BDS. Students will be given about a month to fill the form, after which the edit option will also be available.
The demand for making NEET a low-stake exam has increased. The education ministry and the health ministry had last year discussed conducting medical entrance exams twice a year to give students an extra chance. The demand for conducting NEET twice a year intensified after reports of several suicides of medical aspirants last year.
Internal choice for NEET 2022
Like last year, candidates are expected to be admitted on the new exam pattern providing internal choice. The three-hour medical entrance exam is expected to consist of 200 questions, out of which candidates will have to answer 180 questions.
The exam will be divided into three sections
Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a total of 720 marks. Out of total 200 questions, 100 questions will be from Biology section (all compulsory), 50 questions will be from Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates will have to attempt 35 questions from Physics and Chemistry. Four marks will be given for each correct answer and one negative number for each wrong.

- Expected Schedule of NEET 2022 and JEE Mains 2022:
Experts are of the opinion that there is a possibility of delay in competitive examinations and for this they have cited two specific reasons. The first is the third wave of COVID19 that the country is going through at the moment. The second is the upcoming assembly elections for 5 states.
'Interestingly, there is no real opening to conduct JEE Main 2022 in February, with elections in 5 states in February and in the first week of March. The only possibility could be that the exams may be conducted in the second or third week of March 2022. But, this may conflict with the board exams.
Some of the boards have already released their schedule and CBSE is also expected to conduct the exams in March-April. With this, it is highly unlikely for NTA to conduct JEE Main 2022 in March,' shared Mr. Kumar, who has been associated with coaching for JEE Main for the past 10 years.
Others also agreed, suggesting that the JEE Main 2022 exams may be conducted in April, May and June, and perhaps in July. 'We don't know the dates yet, but can see that there has been no opening. If NTA decides to conduct the exam in March, it will be on a very tight schedule, which may not be convenient for the students.
