1) National Teachers'day is celebrated every year on 5 September.
➨ Teachers’ Day marks the birthday of the country’s first Vice President Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
➨It was first observed in the year 1962 on his 77th birthday.
➨ The theme of teachers’ day for the year 2022 is "Leading in crisis, reimaging the future".

2) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated three new districts, bringing the total number of districts in the state to 31.
➨ The new districts are Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai.

3) The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) has approved Tejas Mark-2 Project.
➨The CCS has sanctioned 6,500 crore rupees for designing and developing of Tejas Mark-2 fighter jet with prototypes, flight testing, and certification.

4) Athletics Federation of India (AFI) has partnered with HSBC India to support women athletes of the country, especially the youngsters. 

5) The Rajasthan government has come up with an e-vehicle policy to encourage the purchase of electric vehicles in the state in which the government has sanctioned a fund of Rs 40 crore for contribution on the purchase of electric vehicles.
