1. WBCS Prelims এ শুধুমাত্র একটি পেপার থাকে অর্থাৎ জেনারেল স্টাডিস। অন্য রাজ্যের পাবলিক সার্ভিস কমিশন পরীক্ষার মতো কোনও অ্যাপ্টিটিউড পরীক্ষা নেই।

WBCS Mains Exam Syllabus 2023: WBCS মেইন পরীক্ষা হল WBCS পরীক্ষার মূল পর্ব। এখানে ছয়টি বাধ্যতামূলক পেপার এবং একটি ঐচ্ছিক বিষয় থাকবে যাতে দুটি পেপার থাকবে(শুধুমাত্র গ্রুপ A এবং / অথবা B- এর জন্য আবেদনকারী প্রার্থীদের জন্য)। ঐচ্ছিক বিষয়ের দুটি পেপার থাকবে এবং প্রত্যেকটিতে 200 নম্বর থাকবে। প্রতিটি পেপার, বাধ্যতামূলক বা ঐচ্ছিক, 200 নম্বর বহন করবে এবং 3 ঘন্টা সময় থাকবে।
