2) Wing Commander Deepika Misra became the first woman officer in the Indian Air Force to be presented a gallantry award.
➨ She was conferred a Vayu Sena Medal (Gallantry) for an act of “exceptional courage” displayed during a flood relief operation in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

3) According to Hurun’s Global Unicorn Index 2023, India consolidated its top 3 spots with 68 unicorns, led by online educator BYJU’S worth $22 billion, on-demand delivery company Swiggy and fantasy sports platform Dream11 each worth $8 billion.

5) Union home minister Amit Shah inaugurated the first national conference of Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) heads of states and Union Territories (UTs) in Delhi to crack down on sale of psychotropic substances and expedite cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

11) For the fourth year in a row, Rajasthan topped the country in terms of person days generation under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme .
➨ In 2022-23, Rajasthan generated 35.61 crore person days at a total cost of Rs 10,175 crore under the scheme.
