SSC CGL 2023 Apply Online: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the registration window for the aspirants who were waiting for SSC Combined Graduate Level  (CGL) notification for the year 2023. Students can submit their SSC CGL application from April 3 to May 3, 2023. This year, the commission is filling up the 7,500 vacancies for Group B and C posts in different ministries/ departments/organizations of the Government of India and various constitutional and statutory bodies or tribunals, etc, in the pay scale of Rs 47,600 to Rs 1,51,100.

    SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2023

    SSC CGL 2023 Educational Qualification:

    1. Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer -  Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
    2. Junior Statistical Officer - Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12 th standard level Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
    3. Statistical Investigator Grade-II - Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.
    4. Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) - Graduation
    5. All other Posts - Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

    Can Final Year Students Apply for SSC CGL 2023?

    Yes, final-year students are also eligible to apply for SSC CGL 2023 Notification.

    SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process

    The selection of the applicants will be done based on the computer-based examination which will be conducted in two tiers:

    1. SSC CGL Tier-I
    2. SSC CGL Tier-II

    SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023

    Tier-I will be conducted for the candidates whose applications will be accepted by the commission. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension

    SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

    Those who qualify in the SSC Tier 1 will be called for Tier 2. SSC CGL Tier II will include Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 in separate shift.

    1. Paper I is compulsory for all the posts
    2. Paper 2 will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Grade-II,
    3. Paper 3 will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper 3 i.e. for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

    SSC CGL Qualifying Marks 2023

    Minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I, Section-I, Section-II & Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I of Tier-II, Paper-II & Paper-III of Tier-II Examination are as follows:

    • UR : 30%
    • OBC/ EWS : 25%
    • All other categories : 20%

    Maximum percentage of errors allowed (i.e. minimum qualifying standards) in Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I of Tier-II Examination i.e. DEST are as follows:

    • UR : 20%
    • OBC/ EWS : 25%
    • All other categories : 30%

    Marks scored by candidates in the online exam will be normalised by using the formula published by the
    Commission

    The candidates can download SSC CGL Admit Card 2023 for Tier 1 and Tier from the official regional website of the commission i.e. SSC NR, SSC SR, SSC NWR, SSC KKR, SSC ER, SSC NER, SSC WR and SSC MPR.

    SSC CGL Result 2023

    The commission will prepare a merit list of all the qualified candidates in a PDF format. SSC CGL Tier 1 Result and SSC CGL Tier 2 Result will be released on the official website of the SSC.
