WBPSC Clerkship (Part-I) Examination 2023 Results Declared: 89,821 Candidates Qualify for Part-II

Kolkata, October 15, 2025 - The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has today announced the results for the Clerkship (Part-I) Examination 2023, marking a crucial milestone in one of the state's most sought-after recruitment drives for clerical positions. A total of 89,821 candidates have successfully cleared the preliminary stage and are now qualified to appear for the subsequent Clerkship (Part-II) examination.

The WBPSC Clerkship Part-I examination, an objective-type test, was conducted on November 16 and 17, 2024. The results, released as a PDF containing the roll numbers of the successful candidates, are available for download on the official WBPSC website, psc.wb.gov.in. Focus Shifts to WBPSC Clerkship Part-II Examination

Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam will now proceed to the WBPSC Clerkship (Part-II) examination, which is conventional/descriptive in nature. This stage is pivotal as the final selection list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in both Part-I and Part-II examinations, contingent upon qualifying the subsequent Computer Operation and Typing Test.

The Commission is expected to announce the schedule and release the admit cards for the WBPSC Clerkship Part-II exam in the coming weeks.
