Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC) invites online application for 896 posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical/ Electrical), Video Film Editor, Surveyor, Ayurvedic Pharmacist, Junior Draughtsman, Law Officer, Clerk, Ophthalmic Officer (Allopathy), Labour Inspector, Junior Laboratory Technician, Junior Quality Control Officer, Marketing Assistant, Technical Superintendent, Milk Procurement Assistant, Plant Operator, Computer Operator, Shastri, Language Teacher, Junior Office Assistant (Accounts) and Junior Draughtsman (Electrical).
1. JUNIOR ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)

Educational Qualification:
i) +2 or its equivalent from a recognized University/ Board.
ii) Degree or Diploma in the trade of Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution.
Experience: Minimum 02 years experience.

2. VIDEO FILM EDITOR

Educational Qualification:

4. AYURVEDIC PHARMACIST

Educational Qualification:
i) Plus two from a recognized Board of School Education.
ii) Successful training of at least 02 years duration in Ayurvedic Pharmacist/ Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda)/ Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) from a recognized Institution/ University.

Educational Qualification: i) Shastri with atleast 50% marks from a recognized University/ Institution.
ii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET Shastri) conducted by HPSSSB, Hamirpur or HP Board of School Education Dharamshala.
Note:- Relaxation upto 5% will be allowed in minimum educational qualifications and also in minimum qualifying marks for TET to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH categories.

Educational Qualification: i) B.A. with Hindi as an elective Subject and 02- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
BA with atleast 50% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
OR
BA with at least 45% marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
B.A. with at least 50 % marks with Hindi as an elective subject and 01- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
OR
Prabhakar (Honours in Hindi) with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from a recognized University and 01- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
OR
M.A. (Hindi) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and 01- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
ii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET Language Teacher) duly conducted by HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala.

21. JUNIOR DRAUGHTSMAN (ELECTRICAL)

Educational Qualification: Matric or its equivalent with ITI certificate in Draughtsman trade from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.6400 — Rs.20200
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC, ST, OBC, PWD and Children/ Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of Himachal Pradesh. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are under various Department/ Board/ Corporation etc. of Himachal Pradesh on Contract basis.
The candidate will be eligible for appointment, if he/ she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any school/ institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition will not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
Reserved category candidates from the states other than Himachal Pradesh will be treated as General category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Skill Tests/ Physical/ Practical Tests, if any, wherever applicable.
