 1) The West Bengal government's Lakshmir Bhandar scheme has bagged the SKOCH award in the women and child development category.

➨The award is a recognition for the government as well as the nearly two crore women of the state.

2) Prasanna Seshadri won India's first silver medal after 11 years of trying at the World Puzzle Championship (WPC).

➨The WPC is a global contest where national teams compete to crack numeric and visual puzzles in the fastest time possible.



3) Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) announced the installation of country's largest Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) in Mundra, Gujarat.
➨The turbine has been installed by Mundra Windtech Ltd (MWL), a wholly-owned subsidiary incorporated by Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL).




4) In Squash, Indian men’s team clinched their first-ever gold at the Asian Squash Team Championships.

➨ They defeated Kuwait in the final in straight sets in Cheongju, South Korea.




5) The Delhi government inaugurated four ‘Mahila Mohalla Clinics’ (neighbourhood clinics for women) across the city.
➨All employees at these clinics will be female and they will treat only children under 12 years of age and women



6) Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 3,024 newly constructed flats for the Economically Weaker Sections in Delhi as part of an in-situ slum rehabilitation project

7) India’s oldest voter Shyam Saran Negi passed away at the age of 106 in Himachal Pradesh.
➨Mr. Negi, who was the Election Commission’s brand ambassador, voted last time for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly election through postal ballot on November 2.



8) Reliance Industries appointed appointed K V Kamath as Independent Director of the company for a period of five years.
➨KV Kamath has also been appointed as an Independent Director and non-executive Chairman for Reliance Strategic Investment Limited (RSIL).

9) Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated the "India Chem 2022" at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi with the theme "Vision 2030: Chemicals and Petrochemicals Build India".

10) Sanjeev Chopra, has assumed charge as Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution. He is a 1990 Batch IAS officer of Odisha Cadre.

11) Odisha has been placed among top 10 states in the Performance Grading Index (PGI) 2020-21 for States & UTs by the Ministry of Education.

12) The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) announced Mr Subhrakant Panda as its President-Elect.

13) Folk singer Maithili Thakur has been appointed the state icon for Bihar by the Election Commission.

➨ Thakur, trained in Indian classical and folk music, was recently selected for the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of the Sangeet Natak Akademi for her contribution to the folk music of Bihar for 2021.




14) Writer M T Vasudevan Nair has been named the recipient of inaugural Kerala Jyothi, the highest civilian honour instituted by the state government.
