1) Rajasthan passed a landmark Right to Health (RTH) Bill.

➨Under the law, every resident of the state has the right to get emergency treatment care without the payment of any fee at any healthcare establishment, including private ones.
➨With this, Rajasthan has become the first and the only State in the country to legislate the right to health.

8) Government of India formed a committee led by finance secretary TV Somanathan to explore ways to address concerns raised by government employees over the National Pension System (NPS).

9) The University of Texas at Dallas has conferred Indian industrialist Naveen Jindal with a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his accomplishments in industry, politics and education.

10) Union Minister Piyush Goyal has announced that Sundarja mangoes of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh and Gajak of Morena have been given GI tag.

11) The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has issued a circular in which it suggested "Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI)" fees on merchant transactions on Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
➨The PPI fees would be levied on transactions above ₹2,000 on UPI. It will result in an interchange at 1.1% of the transaction value.




12) Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and DTE (Down to Earth) magazine has released State of India’s Environment report 2023 focusing on climate change, migration, health and food systems.
