1) Rajasthan passed a landmark Right to Health (RTH) Bill.

➨Under the law, every resident of the state has the right to get emergency treatment care without the payment of any fee at any healthcare establishment, including private ones.
➨With this, Rajasthan has become the first and the only State in the country to legislate the right to health.

2) Alia Mir has been honoured with the wildlife conservation award by Lt. Governor of the Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, becoming the first woman in the Union Territory for her conservation efforts in the region.

3) Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav launched the country's first quantum computing based telecom network link in New Delhi.

4) World Athletics banned transgender women from competing in elite female competitions if they have gone through male puberty.

5) SpiceJet Chairman & Managing Director Ajay Singh took over as the President of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham).

6) Reliance Chairperson Isha Ambani won the "Gennext Entrepreneur" award at Forbes India Leadership Awards 2023.

7) The Foundation of SAARC Writers and Literature (FOSWAL) presented a unique literary award to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman of Bangladesh for his trilogy of books, which includes The Unfinished Memoirs, The Prison Diaries, and the New China 1952.

8) Government of India formed a committee led by finance secretary TV Somanathan to explore ways to address concerns raised by government employees over the National Pension System (NPS).
➨The committee aims to find a middle ground between the fiscally imprudent old pension system (OPS) and the reform-oriented NPS.

9) The University of Texas at Dallas has conferred Indian industrialist Naveen Jindal with a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his accomplishments in industry, politics and education.

10) Union Minister Piyush Goyal has announced that Sundarja mangoes of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh and Gajak of Morena have been given GI tag.

11) The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has issued a circular in which it suggested "Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI)" fees on merchant transactions on Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
➨The PPI fees would be levied on transactions above ₹2,000 on UPI. It will result in an interchange at 1.1% of the transaction value.

12) Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and DTE (Down to Earth) magazine has released State of India’s Environment report 2023 focusing on climate change, migration, health and food systems.

13) To recognize the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community, around the world, March 31 is celebrated as Transgender Day of Visibility.
