Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • PET Examination will consist of one event, i.e. 1.6 Kms race for male and 800 mtrs race for female.
  • PET Exam will only be qualifying in nature, so there are no marks.
  • The physical Efficiency Test will not be for Ex-Servicemen candidates.
  • Aspirants who do not qualify in the race would be eliminated from the recruitment process by giving a rejection slip intimating the reasons thereof by the Presiding Officer.

Written Examination

  • The OMR-based written exam will carry Objective type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • All questions are compulsory and carry equal marks.
  • Each question will have 04 (four) answer choices. So candidates have to mark the correct answer by darkening 01 (one) choice for each question.
  • There is no negative marking for wrong answers in the OMR based written test.
  • The question paper will be set in English & Hindi Language. Hence, aspirants will get the option to answer either in Hindi or English.
  • Only using a black or blue ball pen, questions are to be answered in the OMR sheet.
  • The duration of OMR based Written Exam will be of 120 minutes.
  • Additional 15 minutes will be provided for filling up the column of the OMR answer sheet and Question Booklet appropriately.
