Indian Army - Job Details
Indian Army, Army Recruiting Office Kota invites online application for Soldier (General Duty), Soldier Technical/ Soldier (Tech) Aviation/ Ammunition Examiner, Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management and Soldier Tradesman (Steward, Chefs, Washerman, Dresser, Support Staff, House Keeper and Mess Keeper). Selection of candidates will be through Army Recruitment Rally. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the Indian Army, Army Recruiting Office Kota (See link given below). Required educational qualification and other details for informational purposes only in interest of job-seekers, are given below in brief —
1. SOLDIER (GENERAL DUTY)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
ii) For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in
individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of
C2 Grade.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 21 years.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL/ SOLDIER (TECH) AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
3. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate
exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in
aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
4. SOLDIER TRADESMAN 10TH PASS (STEWARD, CHEFS, WASHERMAN, DRESSER AND SUPPORT STAFF)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
5. SOLDIER TRADESMAN 8TH PASS (HOUSE KEEPER AND MESS KEEPER)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 23 years.
Note:- Only candidates of Ajmer, Baran, Bundi, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Kota and Rajsamand districts are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards for Indian Army Rally 2020
:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cm (162 cm for Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm (76 for Soldier Tradesman); Chest (expanded) — 82 cm (81 cm for Soldier Tradesman); Weight — 50 kg (48 kg Soldier Tradesman)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to
Tribal category of authorized Tribal Areas the cut-off in Height/
Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection for Indian Army Rally 2020 : Selection of candidates will be through Army Recruitment Rally consisting of Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
